Product Development Centre (PDC), initiated in 2009, has been a core element in the development of manufacturing technology in UPECA Aerotech.

Project Team Leaders
Project leaders are the customers contact point. To ensure smooth communication, schedule adherence, systematic documentation of work, we have highly experienced, skilled technical background leaders to lead the team to achieve many successes we have today.

Tooling Design Team
The Tooling Design Team is responsible for all fixture designs, special inspection tools and the modeling of components when required for engineering.

We have invested in multi-CAD capabilities including CATIA, Unigraphics, AutoCAD and Solidworks. These strategic CAD capabilities provides us an advantage to cater to various customer requirements.

Miling / Turning Process Team
Our Machining Process Teams are responsible for developing all machining processes for new and improvement projects. This includes identifying and evaluating equipment investment, formulating best cutting approach and liaising with the Tooling Design Team for best jig designs.

IT & Systems Development Team
Our operations are ably support by our internal IT & Systems Team. Their key functions include development of integrated systems, evaluation and deployment of external systems and supporting overall IT requirements.

Their expertise form the backbone of all our deployed IT Solutions from procurement, supply chain through to production control and management.

Quality Inspection Development Team
The Quality Inspection Development Team identifies inspection requirements and develop the best methods accordingly. The teams develop CMM programs, inspection instructions and liaise closely with the Machining and Tooling teams to establish criteria.
